SLU PT Students Recognized by the Foundation for Physical Therapy Research at the 2021 Virtual Awards Ceremony

Saint Louis University Program in Physical Therapy Students Receive National Recognition for their Contribution to the VCU-Marquette Challenge

The Foundation for Physical Therapy Research (FPTR) awarded the Saint Louis University Program in Physical Therapy students with an Honorable Mention for their efforts to support the Foundation through the 2019-2020 & 2020-2021 VCU-Marquette Challenge. Altogether, the SLU Program in Physical Therapy raised over $4,000 in donations.

The SLU Physical Therapy Student Association (PTSA) created the inaugural event Billikens Impacting the Future to raise funds for the VCU-Marquette Challenge benefiting the Foundation for Physical Therapy Research. The three-part event, featuring alumni and faculty from SLU's Program in Physical Therapy, examined the life-changing impacts of physical therapy research. Each speaker discussed their own research and its potential implications while highlighting needs for future physical therapy research.
